JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for planning, development, service, and maintenance of the company's sales force and marketing platforms. Primary areas of responsibility include technical support, business development, sales team management, systems integration, forecasting & quotations, and product engineering support. The Director of Sales & Marketing works actively with managers, engineers, technicians, salespersons, and customers to meet the company's sales, marketing, and service goals. This position requires a person to perform work with minimum supervision, exercising judgment and initiative.

1. Develop and maintain Company customer relations.
2. Frequently communicate customer needs to other managers.
3. Utilize the Company’s centralized data bases to manage/document sales communications, contacts, contracts, proposals, quotes, disputes, and sales orders.
4. Manage all outside independent Sales Reps and sales employees; Company Sales Account Associates; Inside Sales Coordinators by providing advice, training, direction, and support where needed, including customer visits when necessary.
5. Support the management of contracts and negotiations with independent Sales Reps.
6. Manage any inside sales and marketing professionals and/or individual assigned in the Sales and Marketing department as required.
7. Develop and maintain product pricing lists consistent with ongoing increases in labor and materials. Set strategic pricing schemes. All product pricing subject to approval of Company officers.
8. Assist in the negotiation of customer contracts and LTAs.
9. Develop and maintain sales forecasts.
10. Prepare and/or update and distribute product marketing information and coordinate this distribution with any internal employees.
11. All duties / responsibilities subject to the Company Employee Confidentiality Agreement; Standards of Business Conduct.
12. Managerial control and reporting of Company authorized Sales/Marketing expenses.
13. Spend at minimum 50% of working hours managing the above (with the other 50% dedicated to other work-related activities, including select accounts).
14. Manage select accounts.

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., must remain flexible and open to possible schedule changes in order to meet business needs.
Travel Regular customers and trade show visits are expected, which will include air travel.

Education and Experience
- · Bachelor's degree in a job-related discipline.
- · Five years of increasingly responsible professional experience in supporting/managing prepregs and/or adhesives systems sales.
- · Suggested that at least two years of technical experience have been in a supervisory or management capacity.
- · Strong & effective communication skills, written and spoken.
- · Strong leadership skills.
- · A strong understanding of the MS office software suite is required
