Job Description

The Data Entry Clerk I is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely coding of customer orders is processed. This position will enter the required master data into the company enterprise resource planning system (ERP) and perform quality assurance checks for compliance and accuracy. Additionally, the Data Entry Clerk I will partner with Customer Service Representative (CSR) and Sales team member, ensuring customer retention and satisfaction.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Enter, updates, and verifies master data into ERP system.
  • Evaluates accounts and data to identify errors and make corrections.
  • Identify missing information and verify and update files to include all relevant data.
  • Receive incoming fax, emails, and/or hardcopy for customer orders and inquiries.
  • Investigate and resolves variety of data related issues and requests in partnership with CSR’s and Sales Team members.
  • Provide assistance to customer service team to resolve data entry errors/problems.
  • Create and maintain designated databases; provide reports as needed.
  • Adheres to department Standard Operating Processes (SOP), ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Performs other duties as required.

 

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

Educations and/or Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • 1-year minimum data entry experience

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow up and follow through with multiple tasks

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
