| JOB SUMMARY |
Custodian is responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and professional appearance of the entire site including both the office and production areas. Anticipates and attends to safety concerns to ensure that facility cleanliness is maintained in a safe and secure manner. Monitors and replenishes supplies so that primary daily custodial tasks can be completed on schedule and in accordance with site expectations.

- Maintains a clean working environment for all staff and visitors
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms (both office and plant)
- Sweeps, scrub, wax, and polish floors using brooms, mops, and powered scrubbing/waxing machines
- Clean rugs, carpets, furniture, using vacuum cleaner
- Empty trash cans throughout office and plant
- Wash windows, door panels, and sills
- Replenish kitchen and bathroom supplies
- Maintains outside walkways, walking areas, including sweeping debris and placing mats when necessary
- Keep janitorial areas neat and orderly
- Ensures equipment is maintained in proper working condition
- Applies proper safety techniques and storage methods in the completion of daily custodial activities
- Maintains awareness of supply levels and partners with Supply Chain to reorder when supply goes below required levels
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics code
- All other duties as assigned by Supervisor
| GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience |
Education:
- A High School Diploma is required.
- A two-year college (associate degree), Trade/Technical School or certification is desired.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of direct experience
