Summary/Objective
The Composite Technician performs composite materials processing & characterization of company standard products. Follows directions provided by the materials/chemical engineers in the Technical/R&D department. Follows all company policies and procedures to ensure product integrity and quality control.

Essential Functions
1. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
2. Carry out composite processing tasks (Layup, Kitting, Bagging, Curing, Machining).
3. Operate laboratory & composite processing equipment (Autoclave, Vacuum Oven, Furnace, Analytical, Mechanical & Machining Equipment).
4. Conduct lab-scale resin mixing & coating trials.
5. Demonstrate proficiency using MS Office software (Excel, Access, etc.).
6. Observe all company Health and Safety policies and utilize safe working practices.
7. Maintain housekeeping daily to meet company standards.
8. Comply with all requirements established by the Quality System.
9. Carry out physical, mechanical, and analytical testing to predefined specifications and standards, maintaining clear and concise records of the testing, and ensuring associated equipment meets the needs of specifications and the business alike.
10. Work directly with supervision to maintain a clearly defined schedule, ensuring resource requirements are communicated to all affected departments. Provide feedback on processes and documentation.
11. Create and maintain close working relationships with all other lab employees, support the needs of the business as communicated by supervision, and ensure the communicated 'Lab Rules' are followed at all times. 

Work Environment
Lab, office environment with some exposure to factory floor.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard Hours of work are Monday through Friday, which are subject to change depending on the demand of the position.
4PM – 12:30AM however, the employee will have to be available to train during our first shift until the manager feels that they can confidently transition to the 2nd shift

$20.00 – $25.00 DOE
