Job Title: Sit-Down Forklift Operator (5:30 AM Shift)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team for the 7 AM shift. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating sit-down forklifts and will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials within the warehouse or production area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials, products, and pallets throughout the facility.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks.
- Ensure accurate placement of materials in designated storage locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment checks before each shift.
- Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory control and material handling as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift.
- Ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Availability for the 7 AM shift and occasional overtime if needed.
