Position Summary
The Stock Room Clerk compiles and maintains database of inventory records of the quantity and type of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in the organization. Records receipt or disbursement of inventory items and computes the balance.  Compares inventory records against physical count of inventory or investigates inaccuracies. Prepare reports and stocks and issues materials or merchandise.

Essential Job Duties
- Maintain the inventory for both manufactured parts and purchased parts, including receiving and issuing parts using the Made2Manage (M2M) system. Report any discrepancies to supervisor
- Manage assigned job orders by processing pick lists for each job. Pull and order parts as needed and route parts to the designated department.
- Generate various reports as required using M2M (i.e. inventory movement, material availability
- Process pick lists for each job by pulling and ordering parts as needed and routing parts to the designated department
- Record all information in M2M system
- Order shop supplies and maintain shop inventory

Other Duties
- Process daily cycle count reports for Accounting to update
- Assist the Customer Service Expeditor as needed
- Provide back up for Shipping & Receiving department as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years inventory or shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English required
- Proficient in using a computer, Word and Excel; knowledge of M2M software preferred
- Basic math skills including fractions and decimals required
- Ability to read and use a tape measure required and ability to use a caliper preferred
- Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack following all safety rules is required
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and follow through
- Ability to adhere to ethical principles that reflect the highest standards of organizational and individual behavior and take responsibility for own actions
- Possess effective organizational and time management skills, be detail oriented, manage competing priorities for multiple projects and consistently meet all deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with others and foster cooperative relationships and credibility at all levels of organization
- Valid California driver license and acceptable driver record required
- Must be able to work Saturday rotations
Salary: $20 hr.Â

7:00 am – 3:30 pm
