ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Performs routine, preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment.
2. Electrical and mechanical repairs of all production machines and equipment as needed.
3. Fabricates manufacturing equipment when necessary.
4. Work as a team to meet deadlines and perform good quality repairs.
5. Maintain accurate records to ensure regulatory compliance with all Federal, State & County.
6. Operate daily handheld tools such as pliers, screw drivers, allen wrenches, volt meter and power tools.
7. Perform regular cleaning and housekeeping. This may include but is not limited to painting, debris removal and general housekeeping.
8. Communicate with the department and leaders about production, material and part complications.
9. Other duties or projects as required or assigned.
EDUCATION / TRAINING:
– Electrical training certificate preferred
– Hydraulic experience
– Must have a clean driving record.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
– Basic problem solving skills with basic experience in fabrication and mechanical concepts.
– Basic understanding of PLC (Program Logical Control) preferred
– Basic computer experience.
– Must be able to multitask and exercise good problem solving skills.
– Good oral and written communication.
– Must be able to establish and maintain good working relationships with people inside and outside of the company.
– Basic understanding and performance of wire feed welding.
– Good understanding of electrical and wiring from 24 volt to 480 volts.
-Bilingual (English & Spanish)
*** Minimum 3 years of prior experience.
