POSITION: CNC MILL TURN OPERATOR

SUMMARY:
The CNC Operator produces machined parts by operating a Lathe CNC with live tooling while maintaining quality and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
– Setup and operate a multi axis machining center and a single spindle lathe with live tooling to meet production and quality requirements.
– Cut material to length and place on to the CNC to make precision parts per drawing specification.
– Deburr parts after machining as required.
– Monitor tool life and dimensional characteristics of product. Replenish tooling as needed.
– Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot production issues.
– Review program and interpret G&M codes prior to machining to prevent machine crashes.
– Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, ability to run more than one machine/production process at a time.
– Must be able to make decisions, communicate effectively and work well with others in a team environment.

– CNC machining experience is required.
– Must have a mechanical aptitude.
– Prior experience with Mazak Quick Turn 200 MS and Integrex I200Sis a plus.
– Proficiency in blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), inspection tools and methods.
