• follow quality processes & procedures to perform detailed inspection in receiving, in process and final inspection.
• Complete required documentation
• Perform AS9102 first article inspection and other extensive inspections per specifications
• Document all inspections in accordance with LeFiell procedures and processes
• Ensure quality standards are met for all components & assemblies for final acceptance
• Develop and review inspection plans
• Maintain parts history folders, inspection reports and prints/drawings
• Utilize standard measuring instruments
• Calibrate and document hand tools and other inspection equipment
• Perform visual inspection
• Perform hardness and electrical conductivity testing
• GD&T knowledge

Qualifications Required:

• 5 -10 Years of experience as a mechanical or CMM inspector, Class A Inspector in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Effectively work with mechanical & electronic inspection tools & devices
• Working knowledge of mylars, optical comparator, thickness gage, profilometer & CMM
• Working knowledge of Geometric & dimensional tolerance4s
• Knowledge of aerospace specifications, quality codes & standards
• Able to read blueprints & schematics
• Must be accurate & detailed with minimum errors
• Able to work within specific time schedules/deadlines
• Computer skills: working knowledge of MS office
• Perform job with minimum supervision
• Certification in Mechanical inspection & / or CMM inspection preferred

Salary DOE:
