We have partnered with a respective Aerospace Manufacturing company in Signal Hill, Ca who is seeking a Deburring Technician to add to their team!
This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Shift: 7:30am-4pm OT as needed.
Pay Range: $18-$19/hr.

Job Essentials:
The Deburring Operator will be responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and rough surfaces from workpieces using various tools and techniques. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, a good understanding of different materials, and the ability to work with precision.
Responsibilities:

  • Inspect workpieces to identify burrs, rough edges, and other imperfections.
  • Select appropriate deburring tools, equipment, or methods based on the workpiece material and specifications.
  • Safely operate deburring tools and equipment such as hand files, abrasive pads, deburring brushes, grinding wheels, or tumbling machines.
  • Remove burrs and rough edges from workpieces with precision, ensuring that all surfaces are smooth and free from defects.
  • Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing deburring tasks.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of deburring work to meet specified standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of deburring tools and equipment.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or deviations from specifications to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in deburring or a related manufacturing role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with different deburring techniques and tools.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy objects.
