JOB SUMMARY

As part of the Quality department the responsibilities are to monitor and improve the quality of our operational processes and outputs.  Inspect, audit, and follow all processes to print specification and ensure good quality parts. Work with all departments to communicate effectively and meet all expectations of the customers.

 

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS
 

  • Understand & follow company Safety policies and use of proper PPE.
  • Follow company Quality policy, procedures, and proper documentation process.
  • Practice good housekeeping based on 5S principles.
  • Report to work station every day, on time, and ready to work.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 

  1. Review/ report and distribute quality key measurements and indicators.

 

  1. Conducts visual inspection for finished goods. Sampling calculated per AQL specifications.

 

  1. Provide support to production with first article, in process, and end of run inspections.

 

  1. Follow MRB procedure to ensure company compliance.

 

  1. Produce monthly quality reports as needed.

 

  1. Corrective actions

 

  1. Proper use and care of all inspection tools and equipment.

 

  1. Communicate with department and leaders about production about material, and part complications

 

  1. Other duties or projects as required or assigned.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education/ Training:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Good math and technical skills
  • Blueprint reading skills
  • Basic metrology skills
